The pit lane at The Beach on race morning.

Mario and Michael Andretti

Mario Andretti in son Michael's pit box. Michael is now driving a Reynard powered by Honda supported by Team Green. Paul Tracy and Dario Franchitti also drive for Team Green. Tracy said he was glad to be sharing data with Michael.

Rick Mears

Rick Mears is "team advisor" to Team Penske. Here he watches the big screen during a practice session.

Alex Zanardi

Alex Zanardi, returning from an unsuccessful stint in Formula 1, did no better at The Beach. Driving for Mo Nunn Racing he qualified 20th two seconds off the pole and fell out of the race with a mechanical failure after 55 laps. Here he's riding his bike in pit lane.
